Storage bunkers are used for buffering product in a processing line of tuberous and bulbous crops. For processing companies it is the perfect solution for creating continuity in a processing line.

The Tolsma-Grisnich storage bunkers offer a various range of possibilities, for both large-scale as well as small-scale storing. If need be, the storage bunkers can also be fitted with advanced refrigeration and ventilation systems.

Optimal processing

The Tolsma-Grisnich storage bunkers are developed to create an optimal processing flow of the processing line. Integrated with a grading installation, storage bunkers are being used as buffer with diverse filling and extraction systems. Filling is done using central filling, a moveable filling conveyer or a tilt conveyer, all combined with a fallbreaker. Filling can also be doen using a descending conveyer with moveable end, where the end part of the conveyer will be lowered in the bunker. Unloading the storage bunker is done using a valve or a conveyer

Description

Making use of storage bunkers enables high capacity seperation of different sizes and potato varieties. The desired size or variety will be stored in 1 storage bunker. The angle of the funnel is 45°, which ensure an optimal extraction flow. Tolsma-Grisnich develops both extraction conveyers as well as discharching valves with various compartments. This makes sure that within any process of the processing line, buffering can be made possible.
